ARTEMIS’ First Overnight

It has been quite a busy week for ARTEMIS.  Last night was her first night outside collecting data, plus the tower is complete!  The tower is made from PVC pipes, an RV flag post that lies under the back wheel and zip ties that secure the line to the pipe.  The tower is stabilized by four rope lines; the bottom two are tied onto the trailer and the top two are tied to cinder blocks placed behind the trailer. The cinder blocks have handles made from rope and tarp tape, and a carabiner is used as a detachable anchor.  Along with this and calibrating NOx and O3 loss from the line, the week has been pretty tubular and we look forward to going to Adam’s Farm (our first site test) this upcoming Tuesday.
